City of Stavanger

The City of Stavanger is located in the south-west of Norway and is the 4 th largest city in the country. Stavanger is known as the oil capitol of Norway, and several of the largest Oil companies is located here.

Stavanger is the one of the owners of the waste company I.V.A.R. Their waste management is organized in an administration- and authority department and an executive department.

The administration- and authority department is responsible for all efforts within waste management. This responsibility includes administration, service and emptying the sorting platforms, receiving and collecting garden waste and clearance work in different neighbourhoods inside the city limit.

The municipal collector, Stavanger Renovasjon, works on assignment from the administration- and authority department.

All the households in Stavanger use MaxAir and BioBags.
