Støleheia Composting Plant is located in the south of Norway. It is one of the most modern composting plants in Norway. Støleheia receives separate collected organic waste from private households (food- and garden waste) and dehydrated septic- and sewage sludge. The plant started up in 1996. The owner is the municipality of Kristiansand and the operator is RKR.
